Aspens Charities have secured funding from the NHS to build a service aimed at putting Keyworkers in place for these young people, providing Autism sensitive, personal centred, weekly support. The project’s goal is to help young people and their families/carers feel supported with their mental health, have the opportunity to understand their Autism; overcoming barriers, and support with strategies to achieve goals both long term and short term. Working towards a better quality of life for the young person. Aspens Keyworker project is aimed at 0-25 year-olds with personal centred care at the heart, while using a PBS framework as guidance. Keyworkers will initially build trust and rapport with the young people and families, and begin coordinating a care package, building a network of support to aid in supporting their mental health and quality of life.
