AWARD FOR VOLUNTEERS
Congratulations to Roy and Rosemary Brooks who have been recognised and rewarded for their volunteering. As part of Volunteers Week 2010, Pepenbury wanted to ‘recognise’ and ‘reward’ an individual volunteer. It transpired that this turned out to be ‘2’ volunteers, Roy and Rosemary Brooks, husband and wife, who have volunteered with Pepenbury since December 2007. Rosemary volunteers in the Coffee Shop and Roy helps Beatrice in the Art Dept. Thank You to all our volunteers who work tirelessly and without whom we wouldn’t be able to achieve the work we do in many areas of the organisation. Pepenbury offers a wide range of volunteering opportunities.
Pepenbury is very grateful for the support of all the volunteers who give their time and energy to help us in many different ways from assisting in our services to helping in our shops and supporting our fundraising efforts.
Our volunteers are an essential part of our organisation and we value all the work they do. We are currently looking for volunteers to help in our coffee shop, charity shop and in the plants nursery.

David came to Pepenbury as a volunteer to help with fundraising and IT support and for him to further develop his skills by Volunteering at Pepenbury. He recently found full time work in IT and wrote to thank Pepenbury.
