Training for Work

The aim of this project is delivering skills training to adults with learning and other disabilities, and autistic spectrum disorders, which can then be used as a step towards employment.

Initially we are looking at producing a range of 'introductory' courses to retail, catering, horticulture and office working. There will be the opportunity to undertake accredited training and support will be given to develop a portfolio of skills acquired.

After training we will, in partnership with other agencies, support individuals to access employment opportunities within the local workforce.

Pepenbury will also be offering training to local businesses in interviewing and employing young people within these groups.

For further details about any area of the Training for work please contact Paul Card on 01892 822168, or on his mobile 07703 744485.

He can also be contacted at paulcard@pepenbury.info.
