Our residential house in Southborough is home to 6 individuals ranging in age and ability. Between them, they have a number of complex needs including autism, aspergers, epilepsy and behaviours that may challenge you. Some are wheelchair bound and some have endless energy so you’ll need to be able to keep up!
They enjoy routine and structure but also shopping trips and days out. They particularly enjoy the cooking and art sessions at our Day Service Centre in Pembury.
We’re currently looking for 2 Support Workers to join the team. Ideally you’ll have some experience of working with adults with learning disabilities although a passion for supporting is just as important.
You’ll be supporting the service users to live a full and enjoyable life, assisting them with everyday tasks including personal care, the administration of medication and supporting them with any health or medical based needs.
Being a driver would be a distinct advantage although is not essential.
