Craft Shop

After a lot of hard work and effort to get the shop ready, it opened its doors at the beginning of December for four weeks, aimed at the Christmas market.   Lots of support came from staff, service users and outside volunteers to keep it open. The range of goods varied from craft made on site, Pepenbury Christmas cards, hampers, Christmas decorations and local cakes, jams and chutneys.   And not forgetting, of course, Christmas trees – of which we sold all but one!

So, a very, very big thank you to all who were involved in getting the shop up and running – without your help it wouldn’t have opened.

Due to its success we are keeping it open with the theme of Country Crafts and local produce. Discussions have been held with Beatrice from day services and also a new volunteer to work with the service users in making country crafts to sell from the shop.   It is hoped that the crafts will be made on site but local products will also be sold (teas, chutneys and the like).   Not forgetting, of course, our own plants and hand-crafted garden ornaments.

Coffee Shop

The coffee shop goes from strength to strength with both hot and cold food available. Coffee shop 10.00am – 4.00pm 7 days a week.
