Tree Planting

Ceremony held 15th March 2008

To mark our 80th Birthday we have planted over 300 trees and created a recreation and leisure area for our service users and the community to enjoy.

The tree planting ceremony which was due to take place on the 16th January had to be cancelled due to inclement weather, however, we now proposed to hold this ceremony on 15th March which is the same day as the sponsored walk at Pepenbury.

Many of the trees have been planted to represent service users and staff and I would like to extend a big thank you to all those who have donated money and sponsored a tree. The grounds staff, Tim, Dave, Ben and volunteers have been busy completing the work building a bridge to allow access to the whole area.

There are still trees available for sponsorship - anyone wishing to sponsor a tree and dedicate a tree please contact Meredith Hagar on 01892 822168 or meredithhagar@pepenbury.info.
