Acorns - Day Services

Acorns Day Services, which is part of Pepenbury, is situated in the heart of Kent. Our nearest village is Pembury and we are a short distance from the lovely town of Tunbridge Wells. As a day services facility we offer numerous activities that may be of benefit to people with Learning Disabilities as well as people who have suffered head trauma.

We are extremely fortunate to have on our team specialists in the following activities, art, pottery, gardening and small animal welfare. Alongside these classes we can offer swimming, horse riding, indoor bowls and various trips. So whatever your hobby or interest Acorns will seek to accommodate you - if we don’t have what you are looking for then our Specialist Team will look to see if it can be included in our programme.

Although much of what we do is about having fun we would also like to point out that everything we do has purpose and structure. It’s not a free for all but each service user will be tutored and guided to an end purpose by our instructors. Our primary aim is to help people empower themselves and grow in confidence.

People come to us from all walks of life and some have more complex needs then others. Our service can offer a one-to-one facility depending on your individual needs. Whether this is personal care or challenging behaviour, Acorns will adapt its service to tailor to your needs.
