Community Support Worker

Are you looking for a change in your career? Do you have empathy, excellent communication skills and a sense of humour? Would you like to make a difference to someone’s life? Then this job is for you!

We are currently recruiting Community Support Workers in Tunbridge Wells, Pembury and Maidstone. We have full-time, part-time, evening and weekend hours available

You will be supporting adults with mild learning difficulties, who live in the community to develop their day-to-day living skills. Shopping, cooking, housework, paying household bills, applying for benefits or attending GP appointments, as well as participating in social activities such as days out, bowling and meeting fiends in the pub.

You will be able to make a real difference to vulnerable people’s lives by assisting them in gaining the skills and confidence to become as independent as possible.

You don’t need experience in the care industry, as we will provide you with a full induction and the training required for this job, but a passion for supporting people is essential.

A driving licence would be an advantage but is not essential as long as you are able to get to our services. Shifts are generally between 7.30am and 11pm Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays so flexibility is vital. You may also be required to ‘sleep in’ on occasions.

In return you’ll receive competitive pay and benefits and get to be part of a fantastic organisation.

Don’t miss out on the chance of a rewarding career – come and join our team!
